Bishop Terry J. Ward is a seasoned servant-leader in the Body of Christ, known for his apostolic insight, passion for souls, and transformative impact across communities. He has faithfully served in ministry for over 25 years, preaching the Gospel, shepherding God’s people, and advancing Kingdom work both locally and globally.
As the Senior Pastor of Family Life Outreach Center in Zion, Illinois, Bishop Ward leads with a heart for restoration, healing, and spiritual growth. His ministry is marked by deliverance, reconciliation, and a fervent call to awaken purpose in the lives of Believers. Under his leadership, countless individuals have experienced salvation, healing, and the discovery of their God-ordained assignments.
Before entering full-time ministry, Bishop Ward spent more than 25 years in the corporate world, where he served in supervisory and managerial roles in engineering, technology, data analytics, and organizational development. He earned multiple awards for innovation and excellence and now operates his own coalition of Kingdom-focused businesses. These ventures are rooted in his commitment to economic development, self-sufficiency, and marketplace ministry.
Through his apostolic ministry, Bishop Ward offers strategic initiatives such as entrepreneurship development, workforce development training, and business incubation services while equipping the Body of Christ for both spiritual and natural success. For eight years, he ministered to incarcerated youth and adults, resulting in notable reductions in recidivism and receiving a Distinguished Citizen Award from the Human Relations Commission for his community work.
“Our operational cost will never exceed our giving cost.”
Bishop Ward carries a strong mandate for unity in the Church and believes in placing people above processes. His motto reflects his unwavering commitment to God’s people regardless of background, condition, or circumstance.
A firm believer in continued growth, Bishop Ward holds two academic degrees and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Theology. He also serves as a National Certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor, equipping others to care for the whole person—spirit, soul, and body.
At age nine, Bishop Ward began ministering in song as a Psalmist and traveled the country for over a decade. It was during one of these ministry trips that he met the love of his life, Executive Pastor Cassandra Ward. The two have been married for 36 years, have two adult sons, and continue to serve side-by-side in ministry.
Above all, Bishop Ward’s greatest joy is seeing lives transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit—souls saved, hearts healed, and destinies aligned with God’s divine plan.
